The G7 is a group of seven important countries. These countries have big economies and a lot of power in the world.

The G7 countries are: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan. The European Union also participates.

The G7 has meetings every year. At the meetings, leaders talk about problems in the world.

They talk about the economy, climate change, war, and health. They try to agree on solutions.

On March 27, 2026, the foreign ministers of the G7 countries met in France. This was not a planned meeting.

It was an emergency meeting because of the war in Iran. Foreign ministers are the people in government who manage relationships with other countries.

At the meeting, they talked about the Iran war, Lebanon, and Ukraine. They also discussed energy prices, which are very high right now because of the conflict in the Middle East.
